Social Studies
The goal of the Saraland Middle School's Social Studies department is to develop and prepare students for life as rational, concerned and involved citizens in a diverse and ever-changing democratic society. We do this by challenging our students on a daily basis with a strenuous curriculum and high standards. Our purpose is to ensure that all students can and will be successful by implementing such strategies as collaboration, problem solving, and differentiated instruction.
